With the mii population on my island at 75, I've become selective about which miis should have kids. I see myself playing the game for a long time, but I don't want to max out the 100-mii limit. I want the population to remain a dynamic one. Change is good. It keeps things fresh and interesting. I do delete move miis out when I feel I need to. Kids are a rare indulgence since I can no longer make them travelers. Now, every time my miis have a kid, I feel obsessed about documenting every little scene, I stalk the family for screenshots at all hours of the day and night. XD

YAY! Teppei (Kuroko no Basuke) and Niizuma (Bakuman) have a son now. Their first-born. And Teppei is doing most of the babysitting. He's such a hands-on Dad. It's heartwarming to see. 8)

Kids really do grow up too fast on TomoLife. Heiwajima (Durarara) and Nozaki's (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun) son, Nicholas, now lives in his own apartment on my island. I don't think I will ever let any of the kids become travelers anymore, since everyone who played this game seems to have gone on to Pokemon and Monster Hunter. I've not heard from my travelling kids for a long time. Pretty sure they're marooned in abandoned games. 8(

Babies in TomoLife are like babies in real life. You don't get to do much with them. I do like babysitting them when they're toddlers though, since you get to spin them around until the parents tell you to stop it before the kid gets dizzy. Heh. They do grow up too fast. Now that hardly anyone plays the game anymore, I am loath to allow them to travel. So my married miis have fewer babies.

Today, Sanzo (Saiyuki) tugged at my heartstrings when he said what he did about his son, who is all grown up and living in his own apartment on the island. I can empathize because my own son is already living in the university hostel, and I do miss him and look forward to when he comes home for the weekend.

I find it very satisfying to be able to see my miis go through the motions that constitute daily life, like making lunch in their kitchen or eating a meal with their family in their Mii Homes. It makes them real. It feels like they are, really, living their own lives. 8)

Imagine my surprise when Ariana returned for a visit, and it was her first! She is Bell (Blood Lad) and Oga (Beelzebub)'s daughter. 8) I'd thought that I would never hear from any of my travelling kids again. It's been several months since the game launched; most players have probably stopped playing and moved on to other new and shiny games.

Miyuki (Diamond no Ace) and Casca (Berserk) had their firstborn child, Ethan, who's all grown up now. He will be traveling the world. I really like how the game gave him a skin tone that is darker than Miyuki but lighter than Casca's. The little things count.

Ryan returned for a home visit! Oh man. You should've seen the grin on my face. You probably did. I'm pretty sure it stretched at least halfway across the planet. 8D

Ryan brought back a baguette (from Rokkenjima Island) for me! Then he ate everything that Sanzo and Aomine cooked up. The boy ate as if he'd been starving for a century and a half! XD It was so good to see him again. I made sure he took a nap before he left. Even so, he was dreaming about travelling the world. Ryan, I miss you already and I hope you'll visit again soon!

I did mention we've had a baby boom, so we have baby pictures! 8D

Zoro and Kerry's daughter, Kayla, at this time of writing, has grown up and I chose not to send her out into the world. (Again. I get too attached to my miis!) So she's living in the apartment block. One great thing about keeping the children in your game is they will show up in the relationships screen, as "Family", and you can keep tabs on how well (or not) they continue to get along with their parents. Kayla has Zoro's skin tone and eyes. Reno and Sinbad's son, Liam, is still little enough to take to the cafe in a pram. 8)

Stein and Chihaya's son, Anthony, intrigues me. Because he's got his mother's big-googly eyes. XD Denny is my mii and Teppei's second son. He bears a striking resemblance to his older brother, Dylan. I don't think I will send him out to travel the world either. He's too cute. And I'm very possessive.

As of June 30, these are all my islander miis! Don't ask me how we managed to fit everyone into the photo studio for this shot! XD See the number at the top left corner of the island screenshot? 59. That's the island ranking. You are ranked according to the size of the mii population as well as the happiness levels of your miis. =3

Dylan's all grown up and, just as I'd feared, I couldn't bear to send him away to become a world traveler so he's living in the mii apartment block. 8D Whatever decision you make, you get an animated cutscene full of snapshots of your baby's days with his parents as the credits run. I got all misty-eyed over it. XD

Dylan's a fine-looking boy, isn't he? I'll use the age-o-matic on him some day, when I think he's ready to become a full-fledged adult. I hear that, as long as he's in my game, his parents will turn up at his birthday and wedding parties. =3 In other news, the apartment building expanded because I now have close to 50 miis living with me. I feel really attached to most of them. Stein, for instance. I love visiting him and feeding him and playing with him. Today, I found a ladybug on his head. His reaction was priceless when I told him. XD

And we have a baby! Teppei and my mii named their baby boy Dylan. And they were still wearing the fashionably shocked look of new parents when we made the mandatory trip to the photo studio. XD

Babysitting is an option. You can rock the baby or play peek-a-boo.  But I try my hardest to avoid babysitting. I don't have the patience of a saint. 8P Babies grow up fast in the game. After a day, Dylan's a toddler, learning to walk already. XD

I love the family moments. Check in on the family at different times of the day and you'll see different things going on. Sometimes Teppei is watching Dylan, sometimes it's my mii. I love how they take turns. And when it's almost bedtime, Teppei brushes Dylan's teeth for him. *melts*

Dylan's got his father's hair color and his mother's eyes. In another day or so, I think our little baby's going to be all grown up and ready to leave the nest for the world. Can't wait. 8D
