The fountain is one of my favorite places on the island. I like seeing my miis there, spending their time with friends or chilling by themselves, taking a moment to appreciate life and all its necessary everyday banalities. 8)

Only a handful of my miis have metal-detecting as a hobby, so I'm always excited to see any of them on the beach, looking for treasure. I like how (One Piece) Brook's eyes get so big when he thinks he's struck the proverbial jackpot. 8D

The sakura tree is still in bloom! I'm stoked to see this. In my Animal Crossing: New Leaf game, sakura season is over. But here in TomoLife, we are still in the pink. I love it. =3

For the first time, I actually found 7 miis in the cafe!  I couldn't get all 7 miis in this screenshot; 2 are off-screen. I spotted them when I re-entered the cafe and could see them from a different perspective. This is a record of sorts for my game. 8D

I spotted Enma Ai (Jigoku Shoujo) napping on the bench under the sakura tree. The cherry blossom petals were constantly floating down around her. So pretty. 8)

I find quiet moments like this one, where Hakkai (Saiyuki) appreciates being alone at the fountain, simply delightful. Also, I don't usually get this point of view, and I love that I was able to make this snapshot.

I spotted Sanzo (Saiyuki) and Shogo (One Week Friends) at the tower doing a bit of UFO plane-spotting. Every time I see miis doing that, looking up into the sky, I cringe. Because I keep expecting them to fall back. On account of their big heads. XD

I find it very satisfying to be able to see my miis go through the motions that constitute daily life, like making lunch in their kitchen or eating a meal with their family in their Mii Homes. It makes them real. It feels like they are, really, living their own lives. 8)

Gone are the days when you make your confession in private. Rowdy 3-way confessions are the norm for my islanders now. Bursting out of a school closet in a snazzy suit when everyone least expects it is the best way. XD I love that Hakkai (Saiyuki) chose Sawamura (Diamond no Ace). Opposites attract. =3

I really like to suggest the train station when a mii says he's ready to pop the question to his sweetheart. It's the only way to visit the place. Even the way an unsuccessful proposal ends is special because a train comes to take the mii (being proposed to) away as the one left behind waves goodbye with heartbreaking disappointment on his face.

I love the disposable camera shots because they sometimes throw up something really unexpected. I mean, what's happening here? Is Asahi (Haikyuu!) stalking Hinata (Haikyuu!)? Or is he just hungry because he'd spent all his money riding the ferris wheel!? XD

He proposed on the ferris wheel, he accepted, and now Nozaki (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun) and Heiwajima (Durarara) are officially a couple. And, officially, the oddest couple in my game. A clueless comic artist and a violent, ill-tempered bodyguard for hire? Who would've thunk it? XD
