I was shocked to get a message from one of my travelers! I thought I'd lost all of them forever. The last time I heard from Ariana was way back in October. Wow. I hope she makes it to the next island and sends a letter home about it. I miss all my travelling kids so much. 8(

Different travellers do different things while in their tents. Some have a camera, others have a teddy bear or a sketchbook. I like how the ones with a teddy bear also have a separate sleeping bag for their travelling companion! 8)

I love the way a kid traveler jumps up into the air when they're super happy. It always makes me smile. And the things they say! 8D

Imagine my surprise when Ariana returned for a visit, and it was her first! She is Bell (Blood Lad) and Oga (Beelzebub)'s daughter. 8) I'd thought that I would never hear from any of my travelling kids again. It's been several months since the game launched; most players have probably stopped playing and moved on to other new and shiny games.

Quote of the Day from Casca: "I don't know why but I get to feeling down a lot this time of year."

It's been a long time since I last heard from any of my travelling kids, so I fear the worst has happened and I will never hear from them again. Maybe they've gotten trapped in a game that no one plays anymore or, worse, were erased when the game was restarted. I really wish I knew what has happened. 8(

Anthony has travelled the most. He'd been to 17 islands and has made it halfway across the planet to the UK!

Miyuki (Diamond no Ace) and Casca (Berserk) had their firstborn child, Ethan, who's all grown up now. He will be traveling the world. I really like how the game gave him a skin tone that is darker than Miyuki but lighter than Casca's. The little things count.

Anthony came home for a quick visit! I made sure he ate and napped before he had to take off again. I miss him already. Stay safe and keep in touch, Anthony!

I'm pretty sure that my face lights up like an exploding star when I get a wifi notification about a message from a traveler! I sent out 5 kids to travel the world and, so far, only Anthony has been reporting back. I'm not optimistic about the others because I have not heard from them for weeks. They may be stranded in someone's game that is not being played anymore... or in some game that has been sold and then restarted, which would mean my travelers will never be heard from again. 8(

So, hearing from Anthony, I feel enormously relieved! I hope he's able to get to another island soon. And then write back or return home for a brief visit. He says he's visited 15 islands, which means he's leveled up! He's now a 2-star traveler. You can tell from his grey shirt. (Beginner travelers have white shirts.) Stay safe, Anthony, I hope you are able to keep traveling and writing home! =3

Looking into a married mii's home, you sometimes see them watching TV, cooking dinner, brushing their teeth together, entertaining visitors or just chilling on their back porch. For the first time, I happened to catch Professor Layton and Junpei eating lunch. The Professor munched on a sandwich while Junpei slurped from a bowl of soup.

Anthony wrote a letter home. I see the owner of Sycamore Island has dyed his hair red! I like it. =3

Although I've never mentioned it, these Quotes of the Day that I include at the end of every post are really what my miis say in my game when I click on their ". . ." thought bubble. Now and then, you get a quote that is truly befitting of the mii's character. It makes me smile. 8)

I'm always unseasonably excited to hear from my traveling kids! I like getting a letter but a home visit is always the best. I'm not looking forward to the day when people stop playing Tomodachi Life. Travelers would get stranded in games that no one plays anymore. 8(

I miss you so much, Ryan! Right now, I have 4 kids traveling the world. I hear most often from 3 of them: Ryan, Aubrey and Anthony. The things they have to say about the islands they have visited are pretty funny sometimes. 8)

Ryan returned for a home visit! Oh man. You should've seen the grin on my face. You probably did. I'm pretty sure it stretched at least halfway across the planet. 8D

Ryan brought back a baguette (from Rokkenjima Island) for me! Then he ate everything that Sanzo and Aomine cooked up. The boy ate as if he'd been starving for a century and a half! XD It was so good to see him again. I made sure he took a nap before he left. Even so, he was dreaming about travelling the world. Ryan, I miss you already and I hope you'll visit again soon!

Speaking of kids, just for fun, I sprayed Kagami (Kuroko no Basuke) with a Kid-o-matic. Guess what? He changed into a kid! ;D I was expecting more in terms of appearances but, really, it just made him shockingly short. XD Then he went and did kiddish things, playing on the slide and jumping in puddles. He was so happy. 8D

Oooh, I've just discovered that miis not only feed themselves, they can eat food that the game hasn't even unlocked for you yet! XD You see, I was surprised to find a mii with a full stomach when I distinctly remembered that I had not given him any food. The last time I saw him, his stomach was close to empty. So I patted his tummy, zoomed in on his stomach and found out he'd eaten a peach. Shocking. I don't have peaches in my game yet! 8P

The travelers on my island are packed up and waiting on the dock, ready to go. I will miss them. Some of these kids are really cute. I love playing with them and pampering them with hot baths, good food and hair spray color. I hope, somewhere out there, other players are pampering the kids from my island too. I miss them.

Managed to get a few streetpasses today! I've had travelers before but this is the first time a traveler says she met my mii, they hit it off instantly, should she visit my mii to tell her some travel stories? I was given options and I said, go for it, so she visited my mii and told her so many stories! It was really entertaining to see. I love this event. XD

Letters and home visits are possible only through spotpass. I've been reading 2ch and how some Japanese players don't even hear from their traveling kids for up to 10 months. That's really sad. 8( I hope I get letters from Ryan and Aubrey sometimes. But, sooner or later, they'll drop out of sight, since people are likely to stop playing the game when they tire of it in a few months.

I know they're just bunches of pixels but I feel attached to them and I want them to be well taken care of on other islands. I was all teary-eyed as I read their letters and looked at their pictures. I miss them. =3 In other news, I was stoked to get espresso today at the food mart. Yay for caffeine! 8D There was a pity party at the cafe, what with Mikasa being too depressed to join in the conversation. Stein finally has a lab coat! But the most shocking development is Professor Layton's first experience with a cup of tea. He hates it. THAT'S CRAZY! AND WRONG!!! XD

Happiness is getting streetpasses and travelers camping on your island! I think it's something close to a miracle that I've managed to get 7 campers at once. I like meeting these young adventurers. I talk to them, feed them, give them a bath or medicine if they felt unwell. In return, I may get a special streetpass food item or a gift and letter the next day when they leave my island. It does make me sad when I get a traveler who's been on the road for a year or more and she says she's homesick. (Traveling miis can return for brief home visits but they can't return home for good. They keep traveling.)

In my game, Zoro and Chow Yun-Fat are great friends. They hang out together, eat and chat at the cafe, that sort of thing. Yet, today, they had a terrible fight! Over a glass slipper! XD
