Exactly a year ago, Tomodachi Life was launched. I remember how Professor Layton, Sanzo (Saiyuki), Stein (Soul Eater) and L (Death Note) were among the first miis I created for my game.  I've been playing for a year, just about every day, and I still love my miis as much as I did the first time I played with them. I've collected all the interiors, all the foods, all the treasures. I've solved over 5,945 problems, had over 75 streetpass encounters, received over 25 travelers. My island has 77 miis, including 20 married couples, with a 206 quality of life rating. I've had so much fun. I know I'll have a lot more because I will keep playing.  Happy birthday, TomoLife! 8)

So the big tree in the park, under which many a mii has slept on the bench, enjoyed a picnic, confessed his love, blew bubbles, and sold disco suits at the afternoon market, is a sakura tree? That's awesome. 8)

With 75 islanders, I can't visit every single mii every single day. But I do try to make sure I talk to different miis each time I play because I'd hate to have anyone feel left out. Some players complain that they can't control every single thing a mii does (what friends he makes, what he likes to eat, etc) but I like it this way. It feels like my miis are truly alive and make their own decisions because they aren't completely dependent on me. 8)

Finally, with my island population at 70, the apartment building has expanded for the final time! I have no plans to add any more miis in the short term but I'm glad we've hit this milestone. I should hit the next milestone in a few months when I manage to solve a total of 4,000 problems. XD

I wish I could visit the cafe. I can just imagine myself sitting in a corner, or maybe at the counter, sipping coffee and watching the amusing goings-on. Miis walking in, miis sleeping on the barstools, miis eating cake and sandwiches. I hear them say the craziest, most unpredictable things in conversation. There may be a pity party going on. Or a mii singing-confessing his love for another. I might even see a family, with baby in the stroller, enjoying the afternoon together.

I did mention we've had a baby boom, so we have baby pictures! 8D

Zoro and Kerry's daughter, Kayla, at this time of writing, has grown up and I chose not to send her out into the world. (Again. I get too attached to my miis!) So she's living in the apartment block. One great thing about keeping the children in your game is they will show up in the relationships screen, as "Family", and you can keep tabs on how well (or not) they continue to get along with their parents. Kayla has Zoro's skin tone and eyes. Reno and Sinbad's son, Liam, is still little enough to take to the cafe in a pram. 8)

Stein and Chihaya's son, Anthony, intrigues me. Because he's got his mother's big-googly eyes. XD Denny is my mii and Teppei's second son. He bears a striking resemblance to his older brother, Dylan. I don't think I will send him out to travel the world either. He's too cute. And I'm very possessive.

As of June 30, these are all my islander miis! Don't ask me how we managed to fit everyone into the photo studio for this shot! XD See the number at the top left corner of the island screenshot? 59. That's the island ranking. You are ranked according to the size of the mii population as well as the happiness levels of your miis. =3
