Fishing isn't a popular hobby on my island but I do like seeing my miis taking it easy in a boat, waiting for the fish to bite. In real life, though, fishing isn't for me. It's too... sedate. XD

My miis are having a 3DS streetpass meet-up! XD I need to attend one. I have a traveler on my island I need to send on his way. But a lot of local players have moved on to Pokemon other games and don't play TomoLife anymore. 8(

I really like how my miis go on living their own lives whether or not I'm there to interact with them. When you peek into their apartments, you'll see them on their own or with friends, doing what friends do together. But stay with them long enough and you'll also see that time passes for them. Their friends may leave to do something else in their own apartments or to go to the park or cafe. They leave one at a time, and they wave goodbye at the door. Just like real-life friends do. 8)

Working out with the punching bag is a pretty popular hobby among my miis. Sanosuke (Rurouni Kenshin) has one and he uses frequently. I like watching him. ;D

I happened to find Stein (Soul Eater) and Oga (Beelzebub) skateboarding at the observation tower, so I watched them for a while. Oga would practise flipping the board by himself while Stein did the jumps. Then Oga sat down to take a breather and watch Stein. He even drank from a water bottle. I think a lot of thought went into Tomodachi Life, even when it's the little (non-interactive) moments. This is why the game is so addictive for me. 8)

I added Sawamura (Diamond no Ace) to my game, gave him a baseball bat and he wasted no time whatsoever getting practice! 8D

I really like that the miis have hobbies and will spend time with their friends who share the same interests. Looking in on them, watching them having fun together, always brings a smile to my face. And then, when I ring the doorbell, they'd stop what they're doing and turn to look at me. I love the interaction they share amongst themselves as much as the interaction I share with them. 8)

So Kiichi and Kite went fishing. Kiichi caught a pretty good-sized fish but, yeah, it escaped within seconds. Love that look on Kiichi's face when he realized the fish is gone. XD

In other game news, I'm doing my third playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin. This is my favorite team. That's Legato at the back, he's a badass archer-mage with a sassy tongue. Heh. I love his lines, and his voice actor! (It's the Rogue Voice.) If only I knew who he was but the voice actors are not mentioned in the game credits. When his partner made a remark about how the enchanted literally-worked-to-the-bone miners in the Luculla caves looked, Legato said, "That's the same thousand-yard stare you get when you're trying to do arithmetic." XD

I don't know about other people's games but, in mine, it's rare to see miis indulging in their kite-flying and metal detecting hobbies on the beach. Mostly it's just miis walking or sitting around or building sandcastles. Below: Lavi and my self-mii are flying kites. Levi, Ginko and Hijikata are metal detecting.

I like watching my islanders fish. Sometimes they catch a big one. Then they lose it. XD

There's something about the beach that attracts the miis at all times of the day. You'll usually find someone walking or sitting, sometimes alone and sometimes in pairs. You may see a mii family building a sandcastle together.  I have found miis flying kites or searching for hidden treasure with a metal detector. Some miis  fish, play football or simply stand in the sand to contemplate life or appreciate a beautiful sunset. It makes me wish I could be on that beach with them, too. XD

In other news, I'd discovered 3 adult miis at the end of their wits, playing a desperate game of peekaboo, trying to get Wyatt (Sanosuke and Lavi's firstborn son) to stop crying. Sinbad's a family friend, so he got roped in too. It's little random moments like this that makes you think this game's completely crazy  a genius. 8D
