Here we go, my favorite and least favorite minigames to play with my miis. I love sliding puzzles. I've always loved them, since I was a kid, and still keep a sliding puzzle that must be at least 30 years old. But catching stuff that my little trolls miis drop? Ack. Not fun. This is probably reflective of the kind of PC games I like to play. I gravitate to the ones with some element of strategy in them. (Such as Don't Starve, Darkest Dungeon and Divinity: Original Sin.) I avoid button-mashing games that are all about hand-eye coordination and perfect timing. I guess my brain works fine. But it doesn't play well with others. 8P

Cards is the easiest mini-game to play. No thinking required. It's fast and can end in a second. 8)

Rukawa (Slam Dunk) needed help with getting a sneeze out. Well, it just so happens that I'm awesome with a feather and a mii's nose. 8P

Junpei (Kuroko no Basuke) must not be feeling like himself today. I mean, really? I'm not giving you anything weird. 8P

And what I caught recently playing my least favorite mini-game. The diamond's a particularly nice catch but I like the four-leaf clover better. 8)

Kaleidoscopes are fun! I love watching the unpredictable patterns that pop up. They mesmerize me. Look at this one. So pretty. 8D

The patterns are made up of mii faces and game items like food, treasures, etc. My screen captures don't do these any justice. You need to watch them form and re-form over and over in the game to enjoy the magic. I always spend an inordinate amount of time just staring and marvelling at the patterns. I love Tomodachi Life for having kaleidoscopes. =3

I still enjoy playing the sliding puzzles with my miis, so I've captured a good number of the pictures on these puzzles. About 15 of them in the past week. Oddly enough, not one of them featured the balloons background. I'm still having fun doing these sliding puzzles! Every time I do one, I'm reminded of the earlier Professor Layton games. Lots of sliding puzzles there. 8D

The kaleidoscope you give a mii to play with comes up with such pretty patterns! These patterns are made up of miis, food and treasure items and I like to see how they change when I move and tilt my console. I've always liked kaleidoscopes and now I know I like the virtual version too. Such fun. =3

The mini-games are always fun to play. I like that they are easy to play and takes about a minute or less to complete. The tile-flipping memory games are my favorite to play.

The one game I dislike is Catch. Mii drops an object and you catch it. Sounds easy enough, doesn't it. But it's something else to get the timing right. This game is frustrating! I still manage only about a 50% success rate after all this time. XD

Every day, it's become almost a ritual that I do at least one sliding puzzle in the game, and almost always with Professor Layton. XD I love sliding puzzles. I love them in real life and in digital form. After playing so many with the Professor, I think I've seen all the different styles of the puzzle. In total, there are 5 different backgrounds and 5 different mii poses.
