The fountain in the plaza is not simply the place where your miis go every morning to make a donation. The morning market and evening rap battles are held there. It's also where a lot of miis spend their free time, sometimes alone and sometimes in pairs, day or night. I often see dating miis chatting by the fountain, even splashing each other playfully with the water. If you have a mii who has gotten two other miis to go on a blind date that day, the fountain is where they part ways.

And if the date had been successful, you'll see a happy ending along with the mii who has set them up—still in his stalker outfit—giving you a sneaky wink and a thumbs-up sign. ;D
